The Quartyard is reopening on April 9th, 2018 since they found a new location in the East Village neighborhood of Downtown San Diego. Are you unfamiliar of what they are? Well, they’re an urban park and event venue that allows you to host personal or company events that accommodates up to 800 guests.

The last Quartyard lasted for 2 years before the city of San Diego decided to build a new high rise. When they were searching for a new location, they focused on the idea of utilizing vacant city property to open their venue, similar to the previous location. They understood that the vacant property could take up from anywhere from 2 – 10 years before any construction was to take place so they realize it would be ideal to rent these spots up in the mean time. The Quartyard relocation wasn’t a big deal since the venue is made out of shipping containers making it easy to throw on a back of a truck and head to a new location.

The venue offers a full service beer garden serving over 20 beers on tap, coffee shop by Seahorse Coffee, Canteen that serves California cuisines, and a dog run. There are also fair amount of local and international urban artist artwork at the venue giving them beautiful scenery. The Quartyard past clients have been Red Bull, UBER, TopShop, and Wounded Warrior Project to name a few.
